The Beaglier
is a cross between a Beagle and a Cavalier.
A short coated cross, these friendly and lovable dogs make excellent pets. Usually retaining the colouring of the beagle (tri or black & white) they have the shorter nose and cuter face of the Cavalier, and will usually be a little smaller. Beagle are scent hounds and this trait can over ride the training process but often introducing another breed such as a Cavalier will reduce this urge.
Appearance
~ The appearance can vary as, with long, soft ears. They can have a very smooth coat or a very thick coat.
Temperament
~ They have a great nature and are great companions for all the family.
Size
~ Between 30 and 36cms.
Weight
~ Between 6 and 8kgs.
Colors
~ They come in all colours... They can look like either the beagle or the cavalier.
Coat
~ Smooth or thick.
Grooming
~ Depends on the coat.
Exercise
~ Every day.
Life Expediency
~ 13 to 15 years.
